AADA's Mission 

 To provide battered women and domestic violence victims who have experienced domestic violence with support and information regarding domestic abuse and the options available.

 

AADA's Goals

  • Develop programs that aid battered women who seek assistance
  • Address the immediate safety needs of women experiencing domestic violence
  • Provide supportive services including advocacy, shelter, transportation, and support groups
  • Empower all battered women to develop their full potential as self-sustaining people
  • Support domestic violence educational programs that service children and adults who are the victims of domestic violence
  • Encourage Community values that sustain and promote a non-violent environment
  • Develop Coordinated Community Response to domestic violence with social services, law enforcement, health and legal service providers, ministerial associations and schools.
  • Provide information and referral services to all families on the issue of domestic violence in and around our surrounding communities.
