AADA's Mission
To
provide battered women and domestic violence victims who have
experienced domestic violence with support and information regarding
domestic abuse and the options available.
AADA's Goals
Develop programs that aid battered women who seek assistance
Address the immediate safety needs of women experiencing domestic violence
Provide supportive services including advocacy, shelter, transportation, and support groups
Empower all battered women to develop their full potential as self-sustaining people
Support domestic violence educational programs that service children and adults who are the victims of domestic violence
Encourage Community values that sustain and promote a non-violent environment
Develop
Coordinated Community Response to domestic violence with social
services, law enforcement, health and legal service providers,
ministerial associations and schools.
Provide information and referral services to all families on the issue of domestic violence in and around our surrounding communities.
